Our 2025 open positions are
President Elect:
The Chapter President-Elect will be the superhero subbing in for the Chapter President when they're off-duty. This role is all about empowering the chapter board, supporting the President, and taking on specific tasks when handed down. The President-Elect will work hard to help the board understand their responsibilities and how to excel in them. Think of this position as a dress rehearsal for the future Chapter President.
Communications Director:
As the Communications Director, you are the glue holding our chapter's message together—making sure it sparkles with the Society’s brand flair and shines with clarity and professionalism. You are the bridge between HQ and our chapter, ensuring our words are on point, effective, and downright captivating! You also play matchmaker between our committee, members, and board, keeping everyone in the loop about the latest buzz, events, and exciting initiatives flying in from both sides. Plus, you are the mastermind behind our media channels, crafting a dazzling public presence and making sure our message struts its stuff across all platforms!
Professional Development Director:
This rockstar position focuses on creating pro-level growth events that keep the crew buzzing about those CEU requirements and dish out the freshest web-based options to keep everyone on the growth train. Plus, you throw an annual Professional Development Summit that’s packed with star speakers and hands-on workshops to spark creativity and innovation like a fireworks show!
Next on the agenda: quarterly networking shindigs to strengthen those community vibes and get everyone collaborating like a well-oiled team. And last but not least, taking your feedback to keeps our offerings as fresh as a farmer's market, tuning in to participant insights and the latest industry trends!
Finance Director
The financial guru of the chapter, the Director of Funds, is in charge of the pocketbook, prepping the budget, and keeping everyone in the loop on the cold hard cash. This whizard also handles the financial nitty-gritty, from annual statements to financial controls. Plus, they lend a hand to the chapter workplan team and team up with the President-elect to cook up the budget. It's a hefty role, but someone's got to do it!
