On July 21, two Alaskans were recognized on the national stage at the ASID Celebration Awards Gala in Washington DC.

Barbara Cash of RIM Design and Mary Knopf of ECI Alaska were honored as the first two Alaskan Designers to be inducted as into the ASID College of Fellows, the society’s highest honor. 

Fellowship is bestowed on professional members who have made notable and outstanding contributions to the profession, not only through their work, but through their demonstrated commitment to ASID and to the interior design industry.
